Justin Leitch, Director
Justin grew up in Wilmington, NC as the oldest of five boys. He attended NC State and graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 2014. During his college years two incredible things happened - Justin began following Christ and so did his future wife Bailey. After graduation Justin came on staff at The Summit Church working with college students at his alma mater from 2014 to 2018. Justin and Bailey moved to Charlottesville in the summer of 2018 to plant Center Church.
Reed Harmon, Resident
Reed is from Concord, NC and graduated from NC State where she studied graphic design. It was during her freshman year of college that, because of girls sharing the gospel and reading the bible with her, she began to follow Jesus. God used Summit College, The Summit Church college ministry, to grow and equip her into a disciple that makes disciples. Reed is excited to be on college staff for Center Church because she has a passion for sharing Jesus with college students and seeing them grow in their love for God.
Chris Cannady, Resident
Born in Fayetteville, NC, Chris grew up in the rural countryside of southeastern North Carolina. He graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree in Media and Journalism, focusing in Public Relations. During his first year at UNC-CH, through Young Life and The Summit Church, Chris was exposed to peers who loved Jesus in ways he’d never seen from young people, and this showed him that his entire perception of Christianity was wrong. Chris is excited to be a part of our college staff team as he hopes the Lord can use him the way He used so many more in Chris’ own life.
Zach Meyer, Resident
Zach is from Charlotte, NC and graduated from NC State in 2017. During his time in college he started following Christ, and saw that the college campus is both a ripe mission field and a potent mission force. After graduation Zach did college ministry with The Summit Church for a year at UNC Chapel Hill and got engaged during that time. He and his fiancee began to explore where they could be used by God together, and they felt that was with Center Church.
